All recreational cooking classes are hands-on, allowing our students to truly learn and understand technique. Classes range from technique classes like knife skills, tarts and pies, sauce making, cooking with fish, chicken, meat and vegetarian classes to ethnic cooking classes from all over the globe. All cooking courses focus on proper technique using seasonal, local ingredients

 

Culinary Basics

Designed for both the novice cook and seasoned home chef, Mj. Creations Sweets & Treats signature Culinary Basics workshops will empower you to cook with confidence. These technique-driven hands-on cooking classes focus on classical culinary skills that are relevant to the home cook today. Classes range from 2-hour workshops to a 6-week series to accommodate a wide range of interests and schedules. (We recommend you begin with our Basic Knife Skills class to prepare you for the wide range of techniques you will learn in our comprehensive Culinary Basics workshops

Want to spice up your next big night out? Things heat up fast as you learn hot new cooking tips and techniques under the guidance of our skilled culinary staff. Work side-by-side with your special someone, then sit down together to enjoy an amazing dinner. Or, come by yourself to learn how to re-create the perfect, romantic dinner at home for the one you love. An enchanted evening of gourmet delights awaits you.

Enjoy the sweet life as you learn both the art and science of baking breads, muffins, pies, cakes and cookies. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned home baker, you’ll love expanding your bakeshop repertoire with our tried and true, easy-to-follow recipes.
